Steve, your images are supurb: I love the range of natural effects you achieve, through a compact, without manipulation. I found your site though a forum, seeking user reviews of the DX-2G. The sender of the link claimed that most of your images were taken using the DX-1G. Is this true? There's only mention of a Canon and Sony on your site. I'm looking into purchasing the DX-2G pro package, but I find very few reviews on it, and mixed reviews on the Ricoh it's based on, so I'm seeking more information. I think I would be happy purchasing this package with your images as an example - although I know the photographer's skill contributed more to the shot than the campera.

Really like your web site! Regards Pamela (ACT)
Hi Steve,
Spent the last couple of hours trolling your excellent website. WOW !
If I am allowed to admit having a favourite I would select your images from Tawali, so much great macro stuff. Within those splendid images Robbylee and I decided we were unable to select between the Gold Spotted Egg Cowrie, the Spider Crab, the Yellow Lacy Scorpionfish [close up], Orangutan Crab or the juvenile Black Cyerce as our most favourite.
Love all the whale shots, especially with the newborn calf [we remember it so clearly] and the many many whale images from your recent Tongan visit. Your 1st image of the nudibranch at Kavieng, the Rockhead Sheep fish at Catalina, the great Garibaldi shot over a kelp frond [image no 6] also at Catalina and the pair of Jason's from Poor Knights are delightful, however I remain steadfast in adoring the single head on shot of hippocampus at Uepi as being one of your best.
The lighting is superb, night ocean so amazingly black for background and focused just right. Congratulations.
Thanks for posting your website, we look forward to updates.
Best thoughts, see you soon, Bob & Robbylee (The Basin NSW Aust)
